Alpine Anglers - Catch and Release Excursions in Alberta

All of our walk and wade trips take place on the smaller cutthroat streams of SW Alberta including the Highwood, Crowsnest, Oldman, and Livingstone Rivers.

Walk and wade trips are NOT available on the upper or lower Bow.

Full day: These full trips will take you to one of Alberta's premier smaller mountain streams in pursuit of cutthroat and bull trout, and/or rainbow trout. The day will involve a substantial drive from Banff/Canmore (about 2 to 2½ hours each way) through some of the prettiest landscapes of Alberta. Wildlife abounds along the way, with bear, moose, elk, deer, coyotes, wolves, sheep and goats being seen on just about every trip through the area. About 8 hours will be spent on the water.
